Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic therapy is a specialized form of physical and occupational therapy that allows muscles to relax while helping to reduce joint pain.  Aquatic therapy has many advantages because it promotes muscle relaxation, reduces pain sensation, and decreases muscle spasms.  In fact, water therapy has been proven to be the best environment to achieve full function, regardless of the injury.

People of all ages & swim abilities can benefit from aquatic therapy, including anyone with the following conditions:

  • Post-Surgical Debilitation
  • Bone, Joint, or Muscle Disorders
